The following changes to the Victorian Occupation List came into effect on 26 October 2015. Victoria’s skilled migration program seeks to attract highly skilled and employable professionals and tradespeople with occupations that are difficult to source from the local labour market.
The following occupations have been removed:
- 133211 Engineering Manager
- 231212 Ship’s Engineer
All of the Automotive Trades have been removed:
- 321111 Automotive Electrician
- 321211 Motor Mechanic (General)
- 324111 Panelbeater
- 324311 Vehicle Painter
