does this mean that if you’re on your 2nd year now you won’t have the chance to apply for a third year? My 2nd year ends on the 31st July 2019 and I would have done 6 months of farm work in my 2nd year, but as the work has been completed before 1st July does this not count??

Hi Jordan. The new legislation has not been released as yet, but you should be able to apply for your third year after 1 July 2019 and before your WHV ends. I will know for sure when we can read the new legislation.
