New legislation has been released to increase the eligible age range for Canadian and Irish applicants for the Subclass 417 (Working Holiday) visa, from an upper age limit of 30 to 35. Canada and Ireland have agreed to reciprocate and also implement the age increase. This change takes effect from 1 November 2018. This is an increase from the current maximum age of 30 years, which remains the maximum for all other Working Holiday countries.
